About Julia Vahry – Managing Director
Julia is identified as one of New Zealand's leading females in insurance.
Since building the business on her own, the company has grown to become one of the go-to life and health advisories in the country.
She spent a near decade as a sworn police officer in the New Zealand Police, receiving multiple commendations including her role as police liaison for New Zealand's largest police shootout in history.
Julia is a Kiwibank New Zealander of the Year local hero medalist, philanthropist and television personality.
Julia has received endless recognition for outstanding claims results and is known for having incredible management for illnesses and deaths.
Described as a 'Guardian Angel' with a recent unexpected family death, Julia is able to utilise all her lifetime experience and connections when serious events occur.
Julia is a member of the Institute of Directors and in November 2022, she was appointed as a Board Member for Animal Evac New Zealand, a non-profit, who specialise in the recovery of animals in natural disasters.
Julia has performed on a national stage in track cycling, cross country mountain biking and freestyle skiing as an Ambassador for Rossignol.
In April 2023, Julia was awarded as a winner for Elite Women, described as being influential and progressive in her industry.
In September 2023, Julia was a finalist in the world's most popular televisions series, The Traitors. She was ranked as one of the most strategic and high performing competitors in the world.
